These are the keyword cards we use in school. You can print off the cards or simply write them on pieces of paper for your child to learn. When you feel confident your child recognises the word straight away by sight, rather than sounding out, then you can move onto the next set of words. You can use the list as a way of recording the words learnt and sometimes it is helpful to to look again at all the words learnt so far to check your child still remembers them.
