HANDWRITING

You can do a test on last week's spellings to see how well they have been remembered.

Please keep this relaxed and if they spell a work incorrectly, just ask your child to copy it correctly to try and help them to remember it.

Please, as always, give praise for effort and trying their best!

Your child will be starting new spellings for Week 1.

Please look through the powerpoint to explain the spelling rule to your child.

Then in your child's Handwriting and Spelling Book they can complete today's activity.

Monday's activity is the Continuous Cursive Handwriting Page.

Please check for correct letter formation and size of letters.

TOPIC - CASTLES & DRAGONS

TOPIC - Castles

Talk through this Power Point with your child talking about castles.

Don't worry if you haven't finished building your castle from last week.  You can carry on this week.

If you have finished have a look through the Power Point again to see which castle features you have included and which ones you can add to improve your castle.

If you are happy with your castle I have included below some instructions showing how to draw a castle.

Have a go drawing the castle as shown then feel free to explore using different colours and pens, pencils, crayons etc.
