MORNING WORK (9:00 - 9:30)
Handwriting practise - In your exercise book practise your best handwriting. Copy a poem, prayer or paragraph from your reading book. You could even put your spelling words into sentences.
Make sure you copy carefully and remember to use full stops and capital letters.
READING TIME (1:00 - 1:30)
Encourage your child to read for a sustained period of time.
Please listen to your child and ask questions to support understanding of text and vocabulary.
Why not read a story together?
Play a game in the garden, go for a walk outside or try one of the Home Activity challenges (Week 3).
